That evening, we met his wife whom is also a tour director for Cosmos. When we go south from Vancouver, her group goes north from San Francisco at the same time. Cosmos and Globus work for the same company but Cosmos do budget trips. When she made her own little speech, it became clear that budget trips bring 'budget people' - younger people and a bunch of foreigners. If I chose to take the Cosmos tours, I bet it would've been a bit more awkward. Okay, I hope I didn't miss anything else.
