6/30 10:30AM - The next day, we got up early and took a group picture by a bridge. Less that a minute later, the Rouge River Mail boat arrived to take us upstream to a secluded restaurant. The driver gave a synopsis on the animals of the area. We saw deer, turkey, an eagle, and ospries along the way. The restaurant was far uphill relative to the river because the water had a tendency to rise hundreds of feet up. They even had a photo of the restaurant completely underwater. The breakfast was ok but far from the usual. Some of us went further uphill on a nature trail.
