Background info: In order to maintain my scholarship each year, I must do a certain number of hours of community service or errands for the university. They're usually simple tasks so I don't complain. I jump on the opportunity early and often to get the requirement off my back. However, this seemingly average call for volunteers didn't go quite as smoothly... (emphasis mine)

With all due respect Ms. Pinckney,
please make sure to specify the location and proper date for events. Youroriginal email read that volunteers for the fair were needed on 8/29 eveningand since no location was written, I assumed we would be needed at the ReitzUnion. I spent hours walking to the Reitz Union, to the Florida Gym and backin the rain looking for the committee members. It was only when I comereturned home and studied the email that I found out the error. I don't knowif anyone else misread the email but I hope I'm not the only person to havenotified you of the error.
Anyway, I'll be at the 9/29 event as scheduled.
Goodnight
Jesse A
Ms. Pinckney (8/30):
SUBJECT: Welcome to College
With all do respect Mr. A,
If you had of read your email correctly, the first time, you would have done like everyone else and emailed me requesting for a location. Secondly, the fact that you walked around in the rain for hours in a personal issue. Moreover, you should never assume anything. Common sense should have told you to find somewhere to rest your nerves until it stopped raining. I do not appreciate your little email. Unfortunately, you were the only one walking around in the rain confused. For future the next time you have a misunderstanding about anything or with anyone you need to check yourself before you decide to send out rude emails.
Hope you have a great evening.

There was absolutely nothing rude stated in my original email. An incorrectdate and missing location was given and I pointed it out admittedly a bitlate. There was no need for a personal attack on me.
Now, the purpose of this email: Where will the 9/29 event be located?

I printed out the entire dialogue handed it it to the Criser Administrators' secretary and she was NOT pleased. The kind lady I emailed wasn't even authorized to post to the mailing list. She went to the back room, offered a deeply sincere apology, and went out to raise hell for Ms. Joy Pinckney. I'm glad to be of service. ^_^
